DON SALADINO x PERFORM BETTER

PERFORMANCE PROFILES
TEACHING TOOL

When someone takes this quiz and lands on their results page, that is my opportunity to start a relationship with them. At the end of every results page, there is a call to action button. I ask them to click to learn more, and that takes them to a page where I capture their email address in exchange for something valuable.

That might be a discount code on one of my programs. It might be my Sleep Reset Guide, Weekly Meal Prep Recipes, or any resource that builds trust and delivers real value.

They just took a quiz that identified exactly who they are when they train. They know their core driver. They know their kryptonite. That trust is already built before they ever give me their email address. This is how I coach at scale. I cannot sit across from every person. But with the right tools, I can give every person the guidance they need to train smarter on their own. Below you will find all five performance profiles so you can see exactly what each result page delivers.

THE BULL
You train with relentless intensity and commitment. When you decide to do something, you go all in. Hard work and pushing your limits drive your progress. You enjoy challenging yourself and seeing what your body is capable of. When your energy is focused, you can make fast progress. Your willingness to work hard is one of your greatest strengths, and it often inspires the people around you to work harder too.

Core Driver: You are motivated by challenge and pushing your limits.

Kryptonite: Your kryptonite is doing too much. You physically do more than your body is able to handle. As intensity increases, so does your risk of injury and long-term wear and tear.

Don's Note: Your drive is one of your greatest strengths, and knowing that is half the battle. But here is what you now need to understand about yourself: as your intensity increases, so does your risk of injury and long-term wear and tear. Bulls add more training, more sports, more challenges without ever pulling anything back. That effort has to be directed or it starts working against you. Now that you know your profile, use that awareness. Channel your intensity toward your goal. The Bulls who make the most progress are not the ones who train the hardest. They are the ones who train the smartest.

These are performance profiles, not permanent identities. You may show up as one profile and shift into another as your life or goals change. Most people have a dominant profile, but it can evolve over time. If you ended up with a tie, your answer to the first question carries double value and determines your dominant profile.

 THE ANALYZER
You train best when you understand what you are doing and why it works. Before committing to a plan, you want to know that it makes sense. You value clear information and thoughtful strategy. When a program is logical and well explained, you follow it with focus and intention. You enjoy learning about training, technique, and how progress is built. This approach helps you make smart decisions and gives you the confidence to commit fully when the plan feels right.

Core Driver: You are motivated by understanding how training works.

Kryptonite: Your kryptonite is too much analysis and not enough action. You are more likely to study the plan than to start it.

Don's Note: Knowing you are an Analyzer is powerful because now you can see your own pattern. You want to understand before you commit, and when something makes sense to you, you go all in. That is a real strength. But here is your blind spot: you are more likely to keep studying than to start. Do not wait for perfect understanding. Progress does not come from preparation. It comes from execution. Now that you know this about yourself, catch yourself when the research starts replacing the reps. Understanding is your edge. Use it to start, not to stall. Just go.

THE NEGOTIATOR
You want training to fit into your life, not take it over. Balance matters to you. You value flexibility and control over your time, and you want a routine that works with your schedule instead of against it. But underneath that, there is real pressure. Life is busy. Anxiety and stress are real. And when things pile up, physical health is often the first thing that gets pushed aside. When training fits into your life, you show up consistently and with purpose. The challenge is protecting it when everything else is competing for your attention.

Core Driver: You are motivated by balance and making training fit into your life.

Kryptonite: Your kryptonite is de-prioritization. When life gets busy, training becomes optional and commitment takes a back seat.

Don's Note: Now that you know your profile, you can stop being surprised by your own pattern. Life gets busy, the schedule fills up, and training is the first thing that gets moved. That is the Negotiator in you. It is not a flaw, but it is something you have to manage. Here is what you need to do: define your non-negotiables right now. Not when things calm down. Now. Decide the minimum that happens no matter what your week looks like. Commit to it for ten days. Your physical health cannot keep getting de-prioritized when life gets hard. Protect that standard. That is where your consistency lives.

THE PHOENIX
For you, training is transformation. You are not just trying to improve who you are today. You are trying to evolve into someone different than you were before. Many Phoenixes are leaving behind a version of themselves they no longer want to be. That might be someone who struggled with weight, someone who felt weak or unhealthy, or someone who never believed they could be strong. Each step forward feels like proof that you are becoming the person you set out to be. This is the evolution of you.

Core Driver: You are motivated by transformation and reinventing who you are.

Kryptonite: Your kryptonite is discouragement. When progress feels slow, it can make you feel like you are not evolving fast enough.

Don's Note: ou now know something important about yourself: you are driven by transformation, and that is one of the most powerful motivators there is. But Phoenixes have a blind spot, and knowing it can protect you. When progress feels slow, discouragement sets in fast. That frustration is real, but it lies to you. It tells you nothing is changing when everything is changing. Every session, every rep, every decision to show up is moving you forward, no matter how small it feels. Stay consistent. Recognize the progress that is already happening. Reinvention does not happen overnight. Every step forward, no matter how small, is proof that you are becoming the person you set out to be.

THE PROTECTOR
For some Protectors, this journey begins after a health scare, injury, or diagnosis that changes how they think about their body. For others, it develops as they focus on protecting their strength, mobility, and ability to stay active as they age. Protectors look at fitness as the means to feel good, look good, and perform well for the long term. Training is no longer about pushing limits. It is about protecting your future self. Your goal is longevity, anti-aging, and building a body that stays strong, capable, and reliable for years to come.

Core Driver: You are motivated by protecting your health and investing in your future self.

Kryptonite: Your kryptonite is holding back out of fear of injury. You may be more cautious than your body actually requires, and that caution can slow the progress you are working so hard to protect.

Don's Note: You now have a name for how you approach your training, and that clarity is valuable. Your goal is to age well, protect your future self, and build a body that stays strong, capable, and reliable for the long term. That is an intelligent, future-focused approach. But here is your blind spot: caution can become the thing that holds you back from the very progress you are trying to protect. You may be more capable than you are giving yourself credit for. Steady progress builds confidence, and confidence builds strength. You do not need to push recklessly. You need to keep moving forward, consistently, in a way that feels safe and sustainable. That is how you protect your future self.

Most people have a dominant profile, but it can evolve over time. If you ended up with a tie, your answer to the first question carries double value and determines your dominant profile.
